Natural Home Remedies For High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is also known as hypertension. It means high pressure in the arteries. Blood pressure act like a force in the arterieswhen the heart beats and when the heart at rest. Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). High blood pressure may also increase the risk of coronary heart diesease and stroke. When you have high blood pressure, then arteries are the vessels that carry blood from the pumping heart to all of the tissues and organs of the body. When it is below the 120/80, then you have Normal blood pressure and when blood pressure between 120/80 and 139/89 then it is known as “pre-hypertension”, and a blood pressure of 140/90 or above is considered as high blood pressure. Blood pressure has two types: Primary hypertension and secondary hypertension. Primary hypertension occur due to heredity, obesity, lack of exercise, dietsuch as including salt intake -- cigarette smoking, sex, race, age, and even personality. Over 90 percent of all hypertensives fall into the primary category. Secondary hypertension may occur, If you have kidney disease, endocrine disorders, the use of oral contraceptives, and excessive use of alcohol.

Causes of High Blood Pressure

  • If you have problems with their kidneys or adrenal glands. In which the glands are used to produce hormones, because hormones are important to controll blood pressure.
  • If you are using tobacco, that may also cause blood pressure.
  • Blood pressure may also occur, if you are eating a diet that have high fat and cholesterol.
  • Several factors that may cause high blood pressure such as including obesity, heavy alcohol use, family history of high blood pressure, high salt intake, and aging.

Home Remedies for High Blood Pressure

  • For the treatment of blood pressure, you can use powder made by 100 gm melon seeds and 100 gm poppy seeds (khus-khus). Mix and store in a clean container. Consume 1 tsp with water morning and evening.
  • You can also used ginger juice by mixing 1 tsp honey with 1 tsp ginger juice and 1 tsp cumin powder. You should be taken two times a day.
  • Gooseberry is another effective remedy for high blood pressure. you can taken by mixing tablespoon of fresh amla juice and honey mixed together in every morning.
  • Lemon is also used as a valuable food to control high blood pressure. Because it is a rich source of vitamin P and it is found both in the juice and peel of the fruit. This vitamin is essential for preventing capillary fragility.
  • You should drink raw vegetable juices, especially carrot and spinach juices. You can drink juices separately or in combination, Because it is beneficial in the treatment of high blood pressure. When you will drink juices in combination, then 300 ml of carrot juice and 200 ml of spinach juice should be mixed to make 500 ml or half a litre of the juice, and taken daily. If taken separately, then you should be drink one glass twice daily, morning and evening.
  • You can also use 25-30 curry leaves and make a juice using 1-cup water, then add on limejuice to it for making it tastier. You should drink it in the morning.
  • You should be eaten food that contains vitamin C, and all vitamins of the B group, as they are extremely beneficial in preventing and treating low blood pressure.
